Full Time, 1099 Contractor – Howard & Taylor (Remote)

As a small but mighty team, we act as true partners to our clients—filling the role of in-house marketing leadership and flexing to their needs. From staffing tech and CPG to healthcare and nonprofits, we help our clients get laser-focused on what actually drives results, and then we make it happen.

We’re growing, and we’re looking for a strategic, execution-ready marketer who wants to grow with us.

The Role:
You’ll work directly with our founders and take the lead on several of our smaller client accounts while supporting cross-functional work across our full client roster. You’ll be involved in every step of the client journey, from developing marketing strategies to executing day-to-day deliverables. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience who thrives on variety, likes wearing multiple hats, and wants to be part of a young company where they can take true ownership in helping build the business.

In addition to client work, you'll also have the opportunity to help grow the business. If you bring in new client relationships, you’ll earn a share of the profits, making this role a fit for someone who’s entrepreneurial and eager to build something with us over time.

 

What You’ll Do:

Client Ownership & Strategy

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for several clients

  • Lead marketing planning, reporting, and day-to-day strategy for those clients

  • Participate in higher-level strategy sessions for larger clients alongside senior team members

Execution & Support

  • Support small paid media campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Help track and report on campaign performance, identifying insights and opportunities

  • Assist with public relations tasks (media list building, pitches, tracking press)

  • Draft and schedule organic social media content across clients

  • Jump in on cross-client tasks as needed (no two weeks look the same)

Who You Are:

  • You have 3–5+ years of experience in marketing (brand-side or hybrid backgrounds preferred)

  • You’re strategic, thoughtful, and have a natural instinct for client service – a clear communicator who can lead calls, manage deadlines, and write well

  • You are strong in marketing strategy, but also own the details and can roll up your sleeves

  • You’re not just checking boxes—you’re always looking for ways to add value, anticipate needs, and improve outcomes

  • You’re comfortable with freedom and flexibility—and you take ownership in return

  • You understand how to manage your time, your workload, and your priorities without needing someone to tell you what to do next

  • You’re resourceful, adaptable, and take pride in delivering high-quality work

  • You’re excited by the idea of growing with a small, founder-led company where you’ll have room to lead and shape your role over time

  • You have experience with basic marketing tools like Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and web platforms

 Compensation & Structure:

  • Base compensation + opportunity for future profit sharing

  • 1099 contractor status (no health insurance provided)
